This unit is installing one laminar-flow supply diffuser at a prepared ceiling or soffit opening. The HVAC technician sets the low-turbulence distribution face, connects the plenum neck as furnished, seals the perimeter, and leaves it ready for balance. The rate is per each laminar supply diffuser; its unidirectional low-velocity face is different from the rotational vanes of a swirl diffuser and the solid center face of a plaque diffuser. Those outlets, ductwork, controls, and balancing are separate units.
